The charger works well for a few months, but then one day it started to smell of melted plastic. I cut and it has worked since. I use with rechargeable batteries – Sony 2500mAh Ni-MH. The batteries are good, but the charger is Tekkeon toast. Do not waste your money. Hot Apple would sell a battery that provides the real one. I have not seen him that is worth it looks like.
